Janet McCulloch_colEffective Critical Incident Management:
A Matter of Resilience, Not Just Response
Janet McCulloch – Managing Partner, Leadership Dimensions
10am Wednesday 3rd September, Main Stage.

Many organisations have detailed response plans for critical incidents, but fail to develop a sense of resilience within an organisation and its people. This session explores key approaches for dealing with the vital “human element” of critical incident management, how managers can manage extreme stress reactions, emotional first aid and leading others through change.

Louise-QuinnDeveloping a Safety Culture
Expert Panel featuring Louise Quinn, Managing Partner, Safety Dimensions
2.30pm Wednesday 3rd September, Main Stage.

Realistically, cost is a major factor in implementing safety procedures, but while fiscal cost is preventative, social cost is immeasurable. This panel discussion takes a multi-platform view at workplace safety. The panel of industry experts bring their own particular perspective and experience to the table.

Safe culture however starts with common sense and can improved with understanding and education. It can equally emanate from the top down or the bottom up, while every individual should be aware of their own contribution, their work processes and patterns that may or may not be conducive to a safe workplace. These topics and real case studies will be canvassed in this not-to-be-missed safety culture summit.

Joining Louise Quinn (Managing Partner, Safety Dimensions), Greg McLoughlin (Health by Design) and Michelle Farley (Safety Journey) on Wednesday 3 September.

The show caters for a number of different sectors so whether you are involved in mining, manufacturing, engineering, building & construction, transport or work in an office and just want to learn more about safety options available, then Safety in Action Sydney is the event for you!
